Green tech, Greener phones and a Supercharged feeling in the Air

Apple recently hosted their first event of 2022 on 8th March where they unleashed some very exciting tech, that Apple fans will be really excited to see.

Greener tech, greener phones!
Apple has unveiled two new additions to the Apple iPhone 13 line-up: The iPhone 13 Pro in Alpine Green and the all-new green iPhone 13. It’s clear that Apple’s greener approach, like their reduced plastic packaging and smaller boxes, is also influencing their colour selections! Borchers (Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing) talked in the event about how people love the design of the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro and how these new colours give customers even more options when choosing their iPhone. It’s clear that Apple have started to sway more from their traditional safe three colour approach and more towards having a broader range of products to suit all their users.

Guess whose back, Mac again!

The perennial Mac Studio has returned! Last year’s Apple iMac already featured an abundance of new features as well as a re-imagined design that took away the trademark Apple logo. This had caused a lot of tension within the Apple community however it’s evident that Apple is standing firm with their re-design of the mac.
So, what does it bring to the table? The iMac Studio brings a choice of either the M1 Max or M1 Ultra chips, both boasting over 10 cores of superpowered madness. The Mac Studio is an entirely new Mac desktop, that’s a hybrid between the Mac mini and a Mac Pro. It packs extensive connectivity and new capabilities into an unbelievably compact form, putting everything you need within easy reach and transforming any space into a studio.

The Mac Studio takes immersion to another level when used in tandem with the Studio display. The new Studio Display retains the trademark Apple 5k retina display alongside the 27inch version. The Studio Display also boasts a whopping 14.7 million pixels with a maximum brightness of 600 nits and a colour spectrum of 1 billion colours! To put that into perspective, your standard LCD 4k TV has about 16.7 colour combinations which means the Mac Studio has almost 60 times more colours than the TV in your living room, now that is impressive.

There’s a supercharged feeling in the Air…

Light, bright and full of might: the supercharged Apple M1 chip is powering the all-new iPad Air 5 2022. The new iPad features all the sought-after features such as blazing fast 5G, a 12MP Ultra wide front camera, and a liquid retina display however, what’s new with this year’s release is the colour selection. The iPad Air 2022 comes in five gorgeous colours: Space Grey, Starlight, Purple, Pink and Blue which means there’s now even more colours to suit every type of personality

Did someone say SE 3?

Just as we predicted back in October 2021, the iPhone SE 3 has arrived! Many of our predictions with the new model have been confirmed; the iPhone SE 3 comes with 5G, A 4.7inch pocket-friendly design, and an updated A15 bionic chip. The battery has also seen an update with fast charging being able to get the device from zero to 50% in just 30 minutes. The general design of the SE 3 hasn’t changed much from last generation’s iPhone SE 2, and most of the upgrades have been made internally. The question that is probably on everyone’s minds: do we still get to see the home button in 2022? And we can tell you that the legacy of the home button does indeed continue!
